About ProDevs
We began by finding developers. Now we build teams and technology.
ProDevs is a people and technology company. We started in 2020 by building one of Africa’s strongest technology talent networks. Today we help companies hire across markets and functions, run dedicated teams, and design and ship software, and we measure the result in careers as well as contracts.
01 Our story
From finding one developer, to building the team and the product.
ProDevs began with one job: finding good developers and vetting them properly. Each stage since has added to that job. None has replaced it.

2020
Find developers
ProDevs was founded in 2020 to level the playing field: to connect African technology professionals with the companies that needed them, and to vet them properly first.

Help companies hire
Introductions became recruitment. We take the brief, search the network, assess the candidates and send a shortlist, for permanent roles on the client’s own contract.

Manage teams
Hiring was followed by running. We manage dedicated teams alongside the client, and employ and pay people in countries where the client has no legal entity.

Assess with our own technology
Assessment moved onto Evalia, the platform we built ourselves, so every candidate is scored the same way. More than 100,000 assessments have been completed across the network.

Build complete teams
One hire became whole functions: the structure, the leadership and the staff of a department, in engineering and in finance, sales, operations and people roles.

Today
Build teams and technology
Product managers, designers and engineers now deliver software for clients, from brief to production. People and technology, with one partner accountable for both.
Africa is where the network was built, and it is still where it is deepest. It is our heritage, not a ceiling: we now recruit in the United Kingdom and place professionals with companies across Europe and the United States.

We are building a future where opportunity has no borders and talent has no limits. ProDevs exists to close the opportunity gap for African talent, and to give the companies that hire them teams that deliver.
