Building the technology department at GlobalTrust Mortgage Bank

Client — GlobalTrust Mortgage Bank (mygtmb.com)

GlobalTrust Mortgage Bank runs banking and home financing as a digital product, so it needed a technology function of its own. Filling one vacancy at a time would not answer the real questions: which roles come first, who leads, and who owns delivery. We helped the bank build the team, from the head of engineering to the engineers who build, run and secure the platform.

Designing and building ProTaxi

Client — ProTaxi (protaxi.app)

An electric ride-hailing service for Nigerian cities. We designed and built the rider and driver apps and the admin system behind them, and helped staff the team that runs it. It starts with 1,000 cars in Abuja.

The context

ProTaxi set out to put a fleet of electric cars on the road in Abuja, with riders booking from their phones and operations run from one place. That meant three products that had to work together from the first trip: an app for riders, an app for drivers, and an admin system for the team running the fleet. It also meant people: beyond the build, ProDevs helped ProTaxi hire the staff it needed.

Building Palynx for mobile and web

Client — Palynx (palynx.com)

Palynx is an app for discovering events and a new way to meet people in New York City, with event ticketing built in. We built the mobile apps and the web product.

The context

Palynx pairs people who want to go to the same things: someone finds an event, a place or a last-minute hangout, and finds people to go with. That takes event discovery, profiles and matching, hosting and ticketing in one product, on the phone and on the web.

Zipline runs drone delivery. We are helping the company hire its African team, role by role, as it grows.

The context

Zipline is building out its team in Africa gradually rather than in one hiring round. Each role is a separate search: we source and assess candidates, and Zipline hires the people it chooses.
